I will be in Salzburg in October and will be taking advantage of this.
We’ll be using this ticket when we visit for the Christmas markets. It’s valid for the entire province of Salzburg, not just the city. For anyone that wants to use it before checking in to the hotel (like transportation from the train station), it sounds like you can receive a digital card.
If I get the guest mobility ticket, then how much is it worth it to get the Visit Salzburg pass as well>

The value of the Visit Salzburg, or any city card, is whether or not you want to visit enough of the sites offered by the card. I do not use city cards as I have very focused museum and tourism interests and don't visit enough sites to justify a purchase. With free transport available with the mobility ticket I wonoder if they will lower the price of the Visit Salzburg card.
