Would like an Ataturk airport (Istanbul) hotel recommendation

(There was an old thread on this topic but closed since it was inactive)

Has anyone stayed at a hotel at the Istanbul airport (Ataturk), or very very close to the airport, that they would recommend?

I am anticipating very early AM flights out of IST and think it would be easier to stay at (or next to) the airport the night before the flight. Since I'm presuming other North American destinations required very early AM flights out in the morning too, did anyone have any better solutions than leaving an Old Town area hotel in the middle of the night to catch their flight?

I'm in the same boat so I booked the below hotel (have not stayed there yet, but have really good impression of it based on all criteria - reviews, cost, and accessibility). Very affordable, clean, modern, 3 tram stops away from airport (or very short cab ride, should cost 12-15 Turkish Lira), and very good reviews. Since it's tram-accessible, you could even go into the Old Town easily (but it will take about 45 min).

We stayed at the TAV Airport Hotel which is attached to the airport. It was a very nice place to stay and very convenient.
I don't think it's the cheapest place to stay but you are paying for the location.

If budget isn't an issue then TAV airport hotel is excellent and Tempo Suites too is a very good lower budget option.If that is closer to your price range but happens to be full then also try Hotel Han Airport North which is also very good.

Have stayed at the Courtyard Airport-it's has a scheduled shuttle from and to the airport until 9pm. Pretty sure it was the equivalent of €85.

wowturkey hotel is the closest. U take metro from airport and you get off in next station which is about 3 min metro ride.
