I understand the driver follows your flight arrival time and meets you at the “Arrivals Hall” with a sign. I have a few questions. I thought I read they cannot have a sign inside the terminal and you must exit? Is there a difference in price or availability if you book once you are ready to leave the airport versus making arrangements in advance? Is the price fixed? Thanks Bill

The rules seem to have changed and they now can wait inside with sign.
I would imagine that if you don't prebook, you may not get a car in a sensible time.

The price is fixed. The driver will communicate with you through the Welcome Pickups app or Whatsapp (depends on the driver) about where to meet. Mine sent me very specific instructions (including a video) about where to meet him (outside a specific numbered exit door) and then he walked me to the parking garage where his vehicle was parked. If you are going to stop at an ATM or have to wait for luggage, be sure to tell the driver that so they can anticipate your arrival at the exit door. I failed to mention I only had a carry on bag so I arrived at the meeting point earlier than he expected.
You should book the transport in advance, not when you arrive. Unlike a taxi or ride share situation they don't have a fleet of drivers circling the airport waiting for passengers. I think I may have a coupon code you can use to save a few euros, I will send by PM.
