My husband and I will be taking the RS Best of Turkey 13 day trip starting May 18, 2015. I'm wondering if anyone has traveled in this area during this time of year and if so, what was the weather like? Will it be warm enough for swimming?

Hi there. I am from Australia and have been watching the weather for Turkey also. We are going there in mid April through to early May ( leave Turkey near Cappadoccia on May 6th) I hope it will be ok for swimming when we are there, especially around May 1 as we have a half day in Kusadasi free to just wander and swim i hope in our hotel pool if not the sea. This is a link to weather in Istanbul and I realise down south in the Aegen it should be hotter. the temps are in Celsius but you can do an easy conversion

Its going to be warm enough to wear your tshirts but you may swim or not :).
I tried to swim 2 years ago in May but it was very cold.
