Hi, I am joining the Rick Steve Tour for 2 weeks in Turkey in September. We finish in Izmir and I am considering a boat to Greece afterwards but not sure what would be the best way to spend 4-5 days. Want to spend some time in Athens and fly back home from there. Any suggestions?

According to Direct Ferries: https://www.directferries.com/ from Izmir there is only one ferry and it’s to Thessaloniki.
