Hi! I've been doing research and plan to visit Turkey July-August. I want to see Istanbul but I also would like some relaxing right on the beach at a resort. Any suggestions on which beaches or areas where to look? Thanks!
The area around Fethiye and Oludeniz beach is popular, and probably does offer inclusive resorts, as well as local options. If you want to fly from Istanbul, then Antalya might have more flights. I recommend using Rick Steves' guidebook for Istanbul and usually Lonely Planet for other parts or Turkey, but neither of those will usually mention resorts. Many British and other European visitors will choose package options, however, so there are probably quite a few online.
If you want the best hotels all inclusive with sandy beaches that you can not even find in Florida, definitely, try Belek Hotels in Antalya . Keep in mind, mostly Russian, Scandinavian, or German tourist prefer staying in these areas.
Rixos Premium Belek Hotel, Royal Adam&Eve Hotel Belek, Calista Luxory Resort Belek,WOW Kremlin Palace Hotel Kundu (this one is not in Belek) , Orange County De Luxe Hotel (in Kemer) would be my favorites to stay.
