HI, husband and I are planning a trip to Turkey June 2026. We're struggling with logistics of seeing both Pamukkale and Ephesus as we will be using public transport. Is it best to stay in Selkuk then travel to Pamukkale, or is there a good middle ground? Hubbie is a history buff so Ephesus is a must, I want to go to Pamukkale, but would be happy with a day trip. Do people usually hire drivers and if so should that be organised prior or can it be done through a hotel (this question also applies to getting around Cappadocia). Any assistance greatly received. Note: being aussies, we are used to long distances but plan to fly from Cappadocia to the west (Denizli/ Izmir?)
