I will be arriving into Istanbul airport in April (Attaturk) and I need to go to the other airport to catch a domestic flight. I believe it is some distance away. How do I get there and what is the cost?

Best and easiest way to transfer between two airport is Havatas. It will cost you about 15 TL from Sabiha Gokcen to Taksim, and it will cost about the same from Taksim to Ataturk.
No need to take taxi, it will cost you fortune.
