Tour guides in Istanbul and Athens

My partner and I will be cruising to Turkey and the Greek Islands next year. We are interested in hiring a guide for the day when we are in Athens and Istanbul. Can anyone recommend good guides in these cities? Thanks....

For Istanbul, SRM Travel is the company connected to the Rick Steves tours, and they do private tours as well.

Excellent reviews and Forbes did an article on them
