Tour Bus Arrival Time in Kusadasi

My wife and I are scheduled for the "Best of Turkey" 13 day tour which ends October 31 in Kusadasi. I need to know the approximate time our tour bus will arrive at our Kusadasi hotel the afternoon of October 31. (We are crunched for time the next day, November 1, as our Istanbul to San Francisco flight departs early afternoon. So our plan is to arrange for an Oct. 31 shuttle / taxi from our final hotel to Izmir, then an evening flight Ixmir to Istanbul and then overnight in Istanbul. That plan eliminates several risks and leaves us with time on November 1 to recover from any delays.)

October 30 you arrive in Kudadasi. Oct. 31 you tour Ephesus in the morning and you can be back in Kusadasi in the afternoon.
You should contact RS office for your situation. Your guide will try very hard to make it work for you. You may want to go from Ephesus directly to Izmir via private driver, which is closer than Kusadasi.

I took this tour a couple years ago. The final day in Kusadasi included Ephesus in the morning. We left to go there quite early in order to beat the cruise crowd. We returned to Kusadasi in time for lunch (on our own) and a free afternoon, before the final group dinner. So, if I am understanding your post correctly, you should have plenty of time to get to the Izmir airport for an evening flight (although it’s too bad you’ll miss the dinner!)

Your guide will advise you as to timing and the hotel can arrange a car to the airport. The ride to the airport in Izmir is only a little over an hour. Don’t go to the Izmir airport too far in advance of your flight. There’s not much to do there and, depending on the airline, the check-in counter may not open until a couple hours before the flight.
