My wife and I are going to take advantage of being empty nesters with a 10-day trip to Turkey in September. Old friend of mine from Turkey recommended a few places but want to assume we want to return to Turkey so trying to limit to two locations this first time. Obviously our first nights will be in Instanbul. Can you please recommend another city to base along the southwestern coast, near the ocean and possible day trips to take? Thanks
