We are staying at the Ramada in Tekstilkent. We would like to take a walking tour of the sites but can't find anyone to pick us up at our hotel. Thought about Uber or Taxi. We are part of a tour so changing hotels is not an option. Heard it's about a good half hour or more in traffic to get to Sultanamet. Any ideas. We are leaving in a couple of weeks.
I would day about 45 minutes by car. If it were me, I would use Uber or Bitaksi to call a cab (both are only for licensed taxis). Public transport (bus) would be 1hr+
Sultanahmet is of course not the only area with tourists sites, but from there you can easily walk, take the ferry, or a tram to Karaköy etc...

By this I am guessing you mean a walking tour company? I suggest finding where the tour you want will pick you up and then using Google Maps to navigate to that location. You could also ask you tour company for assistance. They may have access to a walking tour company that will come and get you and others on your tour with the same request.
