Site Tickets, Hotels in Istanbul, Travelling to Konya and Hotels in Konya

I am assuming all of the following sites require tickets. We will be visiting from 12/28/18 - 01/3/19. Is it advisable to buy in advance or because of the winter it's ok to buy onsite?
Hagia Sophia,
Blue Mosque,
Topkapı Palace,
Mosque of Süleyman,
Underground Cistern,
Turkish and Islamic Arts Museum,
Istanbul Archaeological Museum,
Chora Church,
Galata Tower.

What's the 'best way' to travel to Konya. Two of us over 65, two are 24 years each. We will three medium size suitcases and four carryons.

Any hotel recommendations for Istanbul and Konya.

Thank you in advance!

We were in Turkey in September and early October and you won’t have any problems with long lines.
Check Booking.com for hotel suggestions, read all the reviews to help to get an idea of what you might like.
We stayed in old town in Istanbul. I don’t remember Konya ( old town near the Roman Gate I think),and I don’t remember the names where we stayed in either place.
It is 443 miles from Istanbul to Konya.
Check out Rome2rio.com for the best way to get between the two cities. You can fly, take a bus, or bus train combo, train, or drive it yourself. From what I see on Rome2rio, bus is not an option I would take due to the time it takes.
Have fun! I enjoyed Turkey a lot.

I wouldn't mind taking a train if the landscape is worth it. When I googled Mevlana show, Tripadvisor threads are saying its every night. Where can I get information about the Mevlana Show?

Thank you.
