Hello! We are going to Kusadasi this summer on a Med. cruise. We are stopping at Kusadasi & have been there once before. While that was phenomenal, we had a private guide last time & feel like we covered everything in depth. What else is there to do in the area? We will have our 3 kids, ages 19, 17 & 7 with us. We will be in port 13:00-20:00; and there are 2 other ships in port that day, so it will be busy.

You do have options outside of Kusadasi. If you have not been to Ephesus go there. However, I assume you've been to Ephesus and don't want to spend the day at the beach. In Selcuk you could see the ruins of the Temple of Artemis, the Ephesus museum, the ruins of the Basillica of St. John, the mosque and the castle. There is also a small necropolis near Selcuk (Grotto of the Seven Sleepers). If you're interested in religion, the Virgin Mary house is nearby too. Sirince village is a nice place to spend half a day shopping, eating and walking around a picturesque village. If you want to travel farther afield the ruins of Priene are less than an hour away. If you want to see some wildlife and nice beaches there is a park on the Dilek Peninsula.

There are many different activities in Kusadasi for repeat visitors. Adaland or Aqua Fantasy Waterpark, Turkish Bath, Horse Riding, Diving, Village Tour or Boat charter only a few of them. You can also take your towels and enjoy one of nice beach in/around Kusadasi.
