Rüstem Pasha Mosque

Hello,
Has anyone been able to visit the Rüstem Pasha Mosque?
If so, please explain how you found the entrance please.
Also if anyone knows the opening and closing times.

Thank you in advance.

Rustem Pasha was closed for renovation for years, and reopened in late 2021. I have visited twice, in 2015 and 2021.

It's just outside the Spice Market. Most of the sources I can find online say to go past the New Mosque toward the Spice Bazaar and turn right at the Mehmet Efendi coffee shop. I recall it as being on my left as I approached, but maybe my memory is wrong, or I was approaching from a different direction. There are retail spaces on the ground level, and you have to climb a flight of stairs to access it. You'll miss it if you are not looking for it. Although small, it is one of the most beautiful mosques.

The most reliable source I know says: "it is open between 09:00 in the morning and 17:45 in the evening in 2024. Like all mosques in Istanbul, it is closed during prayer times. The best time to visit the mosque is between 09:00 in the morning and 12:00 at the noon."

I went there back in September. I just kept walking around what I assumed was the building until I figured it out. I don't remember whether there was a sign. It was puzzling, but in the end not difficult.

I think there's a small sign, and, if I recall correctly, there are also some nice Iznik tiles at ground level. If you are looking for it, you'll find it. If you're not looking for it, you would never notice it's there. I don't recall it as being particularly difficult to find.
