Running questions

Hi,
I'll be in Turkey for 2 weeks in October, and I'm training for a November marathon. I'm trying to determine whether a fitness center is a dealbreaker for hotels in Antalya and Kas. I'd much prefer to run outside, but I don't want to run trails and I want to be safe. Hills are fine within reason, but if it's going to be absurdly hilly, that would push me toward making sure I have a treadmill. I'm okay with boring and repetitive within reason.

So, my question is, for both Antalya and Kas, are there roads, parks, or dirt paths to run outdoors that are safe, not too hilly, and reasonably pleasant?

For Urgup and Istanbul, any suggestions for interesting routes or other info would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

It may depend on where you stay in Antalya. For the most part, Antalya is very flat except for the area in Old Town that leads down to the marina. There is a linear park that runs for a pretty good distance south of Old Town. I think the park may run as far south as Lower Duden Falls. There may be some gaps along the way. I recall seeing a lot of joggers running along the linear park every day. Take a look at Lara Beach on the map (although there's not any real beach there).

Istanbul is extremely hilly coming up from the Bosporus and the Golden Horn, but it's quite flat from Sultanahmet to Beyazit and the university area. Istiklal Street is also flat, but it may be too crowded for running. I don't recall seeing runners in Istanbul.

I have not experienced safety issues in either Antalya or Istanbul.

I don't know about Kas or Urgup.

ETA: I am not a runner.
