RST Best of Turkey tour June/July

Hello, I am looking at the RST Best of Turkey tour 6/26-7/8 and is in need of some advise. I read that Turkey is hot in June/July/August, but I work at school and our kids don't finish school until later in June, so that's the only dates possible for us. It seems like southern Turkey is hotter, for those of you who have visited Turkey in summer, how was walking around sight seeing? Does anyone know if the hotels RST use for Turkey trips have AC? We have been to Taiwan and Japan in summer, very very hot but all hotels have AC to cool off so we were fine. Thank you!

I took the 2022 Best of Turkey tour that ran through the 2nd week of June. It was hot (32C+ / 90F+) for the inland days (e.g., Ephesus, Aphrodisias, Aspendos, Hierapolis visits) and cooler during the seaside days at Antalya and Kuşadasi.

It was very pleasant to swim in the Mediterranean off the side of the (optional) boat ride in Antalya The tiny rooftop pool at the hotel in Kuşadasi was quite cool, but people were swimming and we sat at the edge to cool off mid-afternoon.

You'll spend a fair amount of inland daytime on the well air-conditioned bus; some people on the sunny side of the bus closed the window curtains.

I believe all the hotels had A/C that worked too well for my tastes. I slept with the windows open in Antalya and Kuşadası.
