RS Turkey Tour Antalya

For those of you who have been on the RS Best of Turkey Tour and your guide arranged a boat excursion, what time did the boat leave and arrive back in Antalya? We would like to do the boat and the museum so I'm just trying to figure out scheduling for that day. Thanks!

I think the boat left in the morning - the cruise was about an hour if I remember correctly. I went in October 2018. I also went to a Hamam in the afternoon which precluded my going to the Museum. My friend opted to go to the Museum and did not do the cruise or the Hamam. This was a free day. I could have done the Museum after the boat but I was more intrigued by the Hamam experience which was amazing! My friend loved the Museum and said the exhibits were excellent.
I hope this helps you make a decision. Antalya is a delightful resort-like town with a relaxing ambiance. I wish we could have spent another night there.

Judy-it does, thank you! We should have plenty of time for both the boat and museum. We are planning on doing a Himam in Istanbul so don't need to worry about that.

I went on the tour last May/June. The optional boat tour was a couple of hours. We left after breakfast and were back in time for lunch. We anchored for about a half hour to allow time for swimming. I highly recommend it. After the boat cruise, we had plenty of time to wander around the town and go to the museum. I think the museum was open until 19:00 which helped. Our guide also organized the Hamam trip the night before, including transportation, so we didn’t have to make either/or choices.

Kim-good to know! A couple of hours and swimming from the boat would be great. And if we like our Hamam experience in Istanbul and the guide offers it as a night time option in Antalya maybe we'll do it again!

I did both the boat and the museum last October, with time for a relaxed lunch in between. The museum is right off the tram line and easy to get to. I got there late afternoon and had the museum almost to myself.
