The HAZE Hotel in Istanbul, where I'm staying for a few days before the RS 7 Day Istanbul starts, is very pleasant and Rafi (manager) is beyond beyond beyond helpful. The restaurant on the roof is quite good and has spectacular views but you have to make a reservation in advance. Tonight 5/13 and tomorrow 5/14 was sold out for dinner but I was able to grab one of the few seats at the small bar. The Sea Bass was incredible and all of the other food I saw being served looked the same. I was there at sunset and the almost 360 view is not to be missed.

Thank you so much for this recommendation. We will be at The Haze Hotel next week before and during our RS Istanbul tour. I'll see if we can get reservations!

We had dinner last night at the Mükellef Karaköy restaurant at the Haze Hotel that you recommended. It was fabulous!
For $21 each, we had a glass of wine and 4 shared appetizers from a glass case full of selections, plus a surprising pumpkin sweet dessert that was worth the dining experience by itself. The rooftop restaurant views are amazing. The roof was partially open. Tables were surprisingly well spaced.
At your suggestion, and because we arrived on Friday, we did make reservations through Rafi at the hotel front desk. It was perfect to have dinner our first night in the hotel after a long day of travel and while we were getting our bearings in the city.
Thanks for your recommendation! I think it's your last tour day today, and our first day is tomorrow. I hope your tour has all been as fabulous as our dinner was last night!
