Is it better to take a tours in these areas or rent a car?
I will be traveling to Antalya, Cappadocia, and Kusadasi.

I highly recommend tours. You will be tired from touring, walking, etc. You can rest and nap when someone else is doing the driving. Also, on tours you will meet other interesting people.

How much time? are there more than one of you? Are you an intrepid traveler?
this part of the country has solo older women taking the local buses between areas, or couples with extended time on their hands renting cars for a month and driving. It all depends on your travel style and preference.
