Hi, I would like to confirm the availability of the public ferry to Eyup. Has this service recently been re-scheduled to start from Karakoy. If this is true whereabouts in Karakoy please? Page 216 of your seventh edition of Istanbul will require amendments too.

Sorry, Patrick, we don't have a researcher currently working on updates for that book, so I have no unpublished files here in the office. I do find this schedule online for 2019: http://en.sehirhatlari.istanbul/en/timetable/halic-hatti-361.html. Google maps shows the ferry terminal north-east of Galata bridge for that brand of ferry service, while the terminal on the north-west side of Galata bridge is for Turkyol brand ferries. If in doubt, allow extra time to walk there.
