I'll be on the June 24, 2024 tour (say hello if you'll be joining me!) and am looking at options post-tour. I'm meeting up with other people in Tuscany afterwards. Right now I'm debating between an overnight tour bus that stops at Troy and Gallipoli or staying on Samos for a quick beach stay. I've already spent 3 weeks in Greece (Athens, Peloponnese and Santorini) and done 2 trips to Italy so I'm not looking for ideas either of those places. Does anyone recommend the Troy/Gallipoli tour or Samos.... or have a third option they love in the region? Thank you!

If the Ephesus area is not on your tour then that may be a good option. We're visiting Turkey for the first time later this fall and planning to go there in addition to Istanbul.

We did the RS tour of Turkey last September and visited Samos afterward. It was a great place to relax post-tour.
