We will be on the Best of Turkey tour in Oct but staying over one night in Kusadasi after the tour ends. I know some of the tour members will leaves with the tour bus to the airport but what other options are available? Thanks for any help..

If it were me, I would just take a bus. I like the Turkish buses. They're generally reliable and clean and have lots of amenities on board. You should be able to get from Kusadasi to Izmir in about an hour and a half to two hours at the latest.
Your other option would be to find a private driver or a cab. That would get you there, but obviously that would be more expensive. You could ask your tour guide while you are there, and they could probably help you figure out the best mode of transportation.

I took a Welcome Pickups shuttle from Kusadasi to the airport, about an hour drive. The hotel may have other vendors they work with, you contact them to ask. If you have an international flight from Izmir, know that you go through a scanning machine at the door. I flew SunExpress and their check in desks don't open until about 2.5 hours before flights. The international terminal is very small so that was plenty of time.

We also stayed an extra day after the Best of Turkey tour. The tour hotel arranged a private driver, which was about €60 (for the car, not per person) in 2022. It could be wildly different now. Or not.
