I'm not actually going to Turkey on this trip, but want to take advantage of Turkish Airlines Touristanbul tour that they offer with a long layover. Does anyone know if I need a Turkish Visa for that tour? Thanks!

Yes, assuming you are a US citizen, to pass through immigration and leave the secure side of the airport, you need a VISA.

But you can do the E-Visa online. Cheap, easy.
