Does anyone have experience using the luggage storage facilities at Istanbul's International airport. We are planning a trip to Turkiye in September with a few days side trip to Athens. While investigating flights, one of the options had us going back to Istanbul from Athens, before getting flight back to Toronto. I thought instead of paying baggage fees on the IST to Athens and return flights, we could pack extremely light for that 4 days and store our bigger luggage at IST.
Does anyone have experience with using this service? Any issues? So far I have not been able to find online the cost per day for a locker.

I don't have experience using them, but would want to do more research to ensure that will work for your layover time. If you're needing to check your bigger luggage returning to Toronto, you'd need to go back through immigration at IST, fetch your bags (if they aren't airside), go check your bags, go back through security and onward to your Toronto flight. IST is a HUGE airport and even if your flight is on time you can taxi for a good long while. So if you have what seems like a reasonable return layover, you could find yourself quite short on time. The hassle/stress factor might not be worth it compared to baggage fees (but I don't know what fees you were quoted, so maybe it is). Good luck!
