Hi
Are there lockers or left luggage service inside Istanbul airport preferably near or after carousel for checked luggage area? We are on a tour this November but has a big check in luggage to be brought to another country after the tour that we are hoping not to carry around. Hope someone is familiar with the layout of that big airport. I can’t seem to find any on the internet.

I’ve never seen lockers at IST or left luggage services within the airport. The government is very sensitive to security concerns. which typically is the reason lockers and on-site luggage storage are not found at airports. Your best bet of finding one— if there is a luggage storage service— would likely be a commercial operation that is off-site from the airport.

Yes, there is luggage storage inside the airport. I just saw a YouTube clip on it and found the official looking website. 40 Tl per day. I'm going to do the same next year so that's how I stumbled across that info and your post.

The link below is on the Turkish Airlines website. It seems to be a very comprehensive map of the IST airport. You can serach for lockers or a storage service (with security checks) on it. I doubt there is one for security reasons.
