I would like to get from Kadikoy to Taksim Square in the quickest way possible. I was hoping to do it by taking a ferry from Kadikoy to Kabatas and then using the F2 Kabatas- Taksim funicular to get to Taksim Square, but I have been reading that the Kabatas ferry dock is closed. Is this correct? If so, is there a good alternative for getting from Kadikoy to Taksim Square in a direct manner? Thanks.

As far as I know, the Kadikoy-Kabatas line should be working normally (you can see the timetables here - https://sehirhatlari.istanbul/en/timetables/domestic-trips/inner-istanbul-ferry-lines/kadikoy-kabatas-766 ). On Google Maps the 'old' Kabatas dock is marked as closed, but the new one is open.
Alternatively, you can take the Marmaray from Ayrılık Çeşmesi station, get off at Yenikapi station, and transfer to the M2 metro (green color). Take the M2 in the 'Haciosman' direction and get off at Taksim station. :)
However, this will take a bit longer and cost more than the ferry.
