Has anyone been to such performance lately and know the latest info? The official site (https://askerimuze.msb.gov.tr/ing/iletisim.html) says they are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 15:00 (3:00 PM). Rick's book lists such performances as held each day at 11:00 and 15:00. Many thanks in advance!

First of all, always believe an official website over Rick’s guidebooks. Printed information gets out of date quickly.
I went to this performance and really enjoyed it a few years ago. It is well worth the effort if you can make it.

I've never had the pleasure to attend during my Istanbul visits. But my son, who lives there, says they are the origin of marching bands as we know them today.
