We plan to be in Istanbul on the 18th of April. How can I contact Uber for a ride to the Sultanahmed?

You can request a ride by using the Uber app, same as you would do here. It would probably be better to wait till you land, though (or maybe before you take off) just in case of any flight delays.

If it helps, havaIST buses are very convenient and well-connected. You take this to Aksaray and from their T1 tram will take you to Sultanahmet station. If luggage is an issue, you can leave it at the airport at Left Luggage - very safe and convenient.
