Istanbul-Izmir-Cappadocia

Is it recommended I fly to each city? Is that what most people do? I need to add Izmar because I think that’s the best city to go visit Pamukkale. Then I think I need to fly back to Istanbul from Cappadocia to go to Greece? Geez, that’s a lot of airport time. Is there a better suggestion?

Or should I start in Greece and take a ferry from an island to connect to Turkey and then work my way up to Istanbul? Hmm…I’m so confused. That may not work because then I don’t know how I travel from the port city up to Cappadocia. 😭🥹

Hi Yuonhee, You have so many questions that It’s time for you to get guidebooks on Turkey and Greece so you will not be totally confused. The more questions of yours that are answered, the more you seem to have,
If you can afford a trip like this, you certainly can afford to buy a couple guidebooks.

Agree with Kenko. There is no way I could put a trip together without a guidebook--it will answer most of your questions in one convenient place! Transport logistics especially (like when there is a bus or train connecting your desired destinations). Once you have it all put together, post the plan here to get feedback and tips.
