Hi all, I am toying with spending a few days in Istanbul in early October after visiting Rome. I would like to hire a great and fun tour guide for a couple/few days to really experience what I should experience. I would rather stick with a Rick Steves group referral.
Thanks all!
I replied to a similar post on this forum, so you may see a duplication of this information. My friends and I (four post-60 women) were impressed with a young tour guide named “Sam,” we were fortunate to have been assigned through a Viator booking—so impressed we asked and were able to book a second day. He was very adaptable to our interests and what we wanted to see and experience, and provided excellent additional recommendations regarding what he thought might interest us based on his time with us. I have been fortunate to have had two Rick Steves recommended guides in the past, and this young man is on par with both (or above).

This is an often asked question, here are some posts to get you started: https://search.ricksteves.com/?button=&date_range=1y&filter=Travel+Forum&query=guide+istanbul
I suggest two full days at a minimum, there is so much to see.
Thanks so much for the replies. I did read the previous post. I was just thinking about getting another one or two experiences. Thanks again.
