Greetings all,
We are planning a very quick 30-hour layover stay in Istanbul for late June. I have been on the website of the rail service provider (metro) for the city of Istanbul and it states that service to the city should commence by the end of 2021. I was wondering if anyone has been there recently and can confirm or deny the existence of rail service that would get us from the airport to the city center where we plan to stay overnight. I have just checked it and they say it will operate at the first quarter of 2022. Probably by the end of March it will be completed and run. But I suggest check it a few weeks before you come. You can also use Havas transfer shuttle buses. google it.
