I booked two day trips with Lale of SRM travel and before our trip she sent me a confirmation with our tour guides information; Volkan Yazici. We had a wonderful time we learned so many things that we would not have understood without a great guide. We did the half day Golden horn in Old Towm and then a full day taste of Istanbul on two continents. Volkan was so knowledgeable and made sure that we got to experience so many different parts of the city-and I really enjoyed that he took us on a ferry and the train and the taxi (even the taxi van that the locals use). He talked to the shopkeepers and I really felt like we got to learn about the City residents and their town. We got to see the art of marbling on paper and met a wonderful old lady who crocheted a purse I purchased. He really knows his history and makes it fun to learn. He also was flexible-we wanted to start later one day and he totally accommodated us. We also had one of the best Turkish lunches that we’ve had since we’ve been here. I highly recommend Volkan as a tour guide and I am really happy that SRM travel provided what they said they would -if I know of anybody going to turkey I’m definitely going highly recommend that they use SRM travel and hopefully they can get Volkan as a guide!!

Lale runs an amazing organization, with such great guides based on my experience with the 2 guides for my tours: Best of Turkey and Best of Istanbul. She really cares that her guests have a wonderful experience while visiting Turkey.
