I got the impression it wasn't needed when I went on the Turkey website, and quick google lookup says not needed.
However would appreciate human confirmation, to try to minimize surprises.
Thank you kindly
Just returned from Turkey in December. No visa was needed.
ETA: We are US citizens.
The US State Department has all the info you need:

The requirement for an e-visa was eliminated in 2024, unless you plan to stay more than 90 days in a 180 day period:

Thank you so much for prompt and accurate answers.
I really appreciate the non-computer confirmation - guess I'm slightly nervous about trip, and doublechecking on things.
Happy/safe travels !
Am traveling on upcoming Turkey tour- is a ETIAS or ETA required? Didn’t think it was but some articles suggest otherwise. Thanks!

What articles? They're not correct. If you are an American, please review the official US State Department information it tells you all you need to know right there at the top of the page (which is just a valid passport, nothing else): https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/international-travel/International-Travel-Country-Information-Pages/Turkey.html
