I am on a 10AM flight out of Izmir when the tour ends in Kusadasi. Would anyone know if the hotel offers a shuttle service? I won't be able to share the ride in the Rick Steve's van, since I would need to be at the airport by 8AM or 8:30AM

Have a safe trip! Make sure you leave the Hotel by 7:00am to 7:30am if you have to be at the airport for 8:00 - 8:30am.

Well, I booked the shuttle service and they have me being picked up at 6AM which I think is excessively early for a 10 AM departure. Another question is that the shuttle service, which is actually a private car service, says that I must provide my passport number. Is this standard procedure?. I am always hesitant to provide my passport ID number.

Hmmm usually Hotels ask for passport ID. I am not familiar with the rules and regulations regarding tourist travel in Turkey. However, check with hotel management first to verify the information on standard procedure regarding tourist transport to airport. Don't give out your passport ID. Another option is , tell them you have your driver's license you can show as proof of ID and that's it.
