Want to be sure we get our visas before our trip, but alwant want to be sure they don’t expire before we go. How long is their visa valid?

For E-visa 180 days from date of application, cannot stay longer than 90 days according to the Türkiye official website.

Their FAQ says you can apply "any time before your travel" but their online system actually only allows you to specify a start date within the upcoming 90 days.
Your VISA is valid for a 180 day window from the start date you choose and you can enter the country anytime within that window, staying no more than 90 days and not past the VISA end date.
I suggest you schedule your VISA to start a few days before your expected flight so that if your flight changes, your VISA will still be valid.

ANd it doesnt say it I dont believe, but you can do multiple entries on the same visa .... or at least I did and I didnt end up in a Turkish prison.
