I’m interested in registering for the Istanbul Tour in November 2023 and I’m traveling from the USA. I need to arrive one day prior to Day 1 and wonder which hotel they use for the duration of the tour in Istanbul. Thank you.

Your safest bet would probably be to contact the RS tour office. I have not taken any RS tours, but do know from comments here on the forum, that hotels can change from tour to tour, so someone's response may not be entirely accurate for your particular tour.

Once you sign up for the tour, they will provide you with the name and contact information for the first hotel on the itinerary (the only hotel for a city tour). Then it’s best to email the hotel and tell them you will be part of an RS tour. They often set aside some rooms for early arrivers and sometimes give a discounted price for RS tour members. These rooms and discounts won’t show up if you try to. reserve a room online.
Istanbul was my first RS tour (I’m now getting ready for my 9th tour) and it still stands out as one of the best!
