H, we won’t get to the Galatas hotel in Istanbul until 8pm. Instead of looking around for a Resturant, any suggestions close by or does the hotel have a Resturant that stays open late? I couldn’t find that info on the hotel site. Thank you.
Galatas Port hotel in Turkey?
Could you perhaps be a bit more specific?
Are you pointing at the Galataport Hotel in Istanbul?
Sorry- Istanbul
Judy,
Galataport is a district in Istanbul. There are about ten hotels in this district. Unless you try harder, no one will be able to identify your hotel.
In any case, restaurants in Istanbul rarely close before 11 pm.

This is hard as I can try! The port part was auto type error. Just some recommendations for restaurants near would also be nice.
Sorry, I'm afraid I can't help with this one. I'm not familiar with this area myself.
But if I can trust Google, there is a highly rated restaurant less than 50 meters from the hotel: Haydi Balık Karaköy (4.9/5)

Ask the hotel directly how late their restaurant is open via [email protected]. I tried their reservation link to see what would happen, but no link opened. And, as Windyram's Google Maps link shows, there are a half dozen restaurants nearby open well past midnight.
BTW, this place looks nice. How did you select it? I'm heading to Istanbul next spring and I'm still doing hotel research..
The name of the restaurant of Galata's hotel
is Galata's Liman Meyhane. It's open until 11pm, closed on mondays

JKH - this is the hotel our RS tour group is staying at and we just booked extra days on arrival before the tour starts.
Thanks everyone, I believe I have all the information I need.
The hotel desk staff can also direct you to something nearby, it is a business style hotel and they're quite used to getting asked this type of question. It's a lively part of town there will be plenty of options. Namli Gurme is almost directly across the street and has kind of a deli setup. It looks like they're open until 10 p.m. - it's a popular brunch place so it may be less crowded in the evenings.

This is often used as a RS tour hotel, I stayed there with my group in 2023.
There are many restaurants very near your hotel that are open until 10pm. If you walk to GalataPort, you will find restaurants open later. If you want dinner at midnight or later, go to Taksim Square, many of the restaurants there are open until 2am.
