How long and strenuous is this hike

The hike that our Turkey tour group does together takes about three hours, including a short break. It covers a beautiful valley, but the ground can be slippery, path narrow, or sun hot. Tour members who opt out of that walk can spend more time in our small-town base. Your guide will give you more detail, but do pack good walking shoes.

Is there a lot of elevation change in the hike?

No, when I took it there wasn't any significant uphill, but there was a downhill slope to enter the valley. A more recent visitor said tour members used walking sticks, so I believe those were provided. Your guide will have all the latest info on conditions and route.
