has anyone used their current evisa or gotten a visa upon arrival after Dec. 2 to get into Turkey?

I have an evisa that was issued before the ban and it is still valid until next March. But I have heard as of Dec. 2, that Turkish customs is no longer accepting valid evisas nor allowing visa upon arrival even if you arrive from a country other than the US. I'm told that you must have a sticker visa from a Turkish embassy. Can anyone verify whether either of these is true or not? We are traveling to Turkey soon, and don't want to be denied entry.

The Internets are not a reliable source of this kind of information. You need to contact the official Turkish embassy/consulate and get actual, official, solid information. Also keep in mind that things change (and probably will continue to change).
