So, I fill the initial form with name, passport number etc. Then I’m press “Verify”. I get a reply saying I am approved and I am supposed to pay by using the link in a separate reply. This reply with the link never arrives. So, I can’t complete the process. I have used a different computer, different operating systems, different emails etc but no luck. Anybody have any solutions? I have to leave for Turkey in 10 days.
Just buy it from the point of entry. It's a cash transaction, very easy.
I agree with David - that's what I did and it went very quickly.
Thx David, Mardee.
I am part of a tour and don’t want to slow the travelers down. I was told by the tour operator that a big line forms very quickly for visas — as you step off the plane.
Thx.
Did you check your junk mail folder?
I completely disagree with David and Mardee's advice.
I went to Turkey in September, 2019. At that time they were not offering visa's at point of entry. We had to show our visa to board the plane.
Please be sure you know if that choice is possible before your travel date.
I've noticed that some of my US email addresses don't work with international websites and filters. I created a gmail address that I use for travel and which I used with the Turkish eVisa website that worked perfectly.
I just got my e-visa for next month's trip with no problem. I was using an iCloud.com email address. I agree with the suggestion to check your spam folder.
Evidently, you can still get the visa at the airport if you are coming from the U.S., but they are encouraging people to use the electronic application. https://www.evisa.gov.tr/en/info/i-do-not-want-to-apply-for-an-e-visa-can-i-get-a-visa-on-arrival/
I've done it in line multiple times with a Gmail address. Bet its in your junk mail.
Thanks guys for your help and advice. I finally got my visa.
I wrote to e visa Turkey and they asked me to press the “On going application” tab. No need for reference number - only name, email and passport number. That action took me to the payment area. After payment, I got the visa immediately.
Once again, thanks.
Great info, glad you got your Visa and thank you for reporting back to help others. Happy travels to Turkey!
