We checked out the Galata Tower yesterday. This is a must see but be aware they are changing twice the posted 30 Euro price to enter. We argued for a while but they wouldn’t budge. Probably best to get the museum pass, so they don’t rip you off. The audio guide would not work even for the employees. Great views though!

Yes, they have the cost posted in Euro, but will only take Lira. I suppose they are trying to confuse you with the conversation. Ended up being around 1700TL per person.

Holy smokes. It was 350 TL when we went in May 2022. That was about $8 at that time.

It is highly recommended to visit the the tower in the early morning because they opened recently after the renovation. After 11 o’clock morning it is impossible to visit it because of the crowd

Galata neighborhood has such a wonderful atmosphere together with istiklal street . Try to go there by the evening to see the colorful streets
