In September, I will be traveling from the USA to IST and then continuing my journey to Izmir on the same day. Considering the numerous flights and potential uncertainties, I am concerned about arranging a specific pickup time with a private taxi service in advance. I am contemplating the option of taking a taxi upon our arrival at the airport, in case the Havas bus service is not readily available.
What would be a fair price from Izmir airport to Selcuk for 3 people without luggages ( we will store our big luggage at the IST) in the afternoon like 2-3 pm? And vice versa from Selcuk to Izmir airport, too?
Additionally, I would like to know if it is customary to negotiate the fare with the taxi driver prior to the ride. If negotiation is expected, do you have any tips or advice that could help me in this process?
