Our last breakfast with the RS Turkey tour is Oct. 11. We have 11 am reservations on the 14th from Izmir to Istanbul, then home. I would like to visit Samos by ferry. What is the most efficient way to do this? The cost of flying from Samos to Izmir is too high.

The Kusadasi-Samos ferry runs in both directions each day in October, departing Turkey in the morning and Greece in the afternoon. See also http://www.feribot.net/feribot/?lang=en. Your guide will help tour members to buy the ferry tickets when your group arrives in Kusadasi.
