Ephesus tours?

Hi all. We will be staying in Kusadasi for a few days the end of September and I have been trying to find a tour to Ephesus but everything I find is for cruisers only. It doesn’t have to be private, a group is fine. Any recommendations would be much appreciated.

Do you happen to have access to the Rick Steve's Istanbul guidebook? Ephesus is included as a side trip. He has a few options. There is a self guided walking tour, and audiotour is available on the Rick Steves' audio app, and he does provide at least four options for local guides.

Most of the time, we just do our own tours, self guided. However we did have a guide for Ephesus (we were with a cruise tour) and I found it very helpful. Ephesus is a great place to have a local guide.

I don’t have that guide book as the only city we will be staying in is Kusadasi.

Tammy, You could check it out from the library. I think the Ephesus chapter would be very helpful for you. The RS audio app is free, at the app store on your phone

Tammy, we have booked a tour of Ephesus with Mary’s house with Viator. Same as the one offered by viking at half the price

Hi Tammy:

we used this tour company in 2014 in Kusadasi & Istanbul & will use them again next year for a cruise port stop in Kusadasi.

They also do tours from Kusadasi (not just from the Port). We had a great experience with them in '14. The guides were great and easily customized the tours for our group of adults & teens. They have been just as responsive to my email questions this time around, as we are traveling with some friends that have mobility issues.

Sorry, just realized that this is an old thread. You probably have this sorted out already!
