Post my mid-October RS Istanbul tour, I want to take a one day tour to Ephesus. I see that many Istanbul-based tour companies offer such tours with airfare included. Does anyone have any company recommendations (apart from the already recommended SRM Travel)? Tight timing prevents me from spending more time there. Cheers!

I haven't used any tour companies. If you book your own flight to Izmir, you can take a train from the airport to Selcuk and will find local guides available there.

Istanbul has excellent public transportation and all these places are on the main tram line, making it very easy to visit. I have been to Istanbul and Ephesus safely with the help of a travel agency About Ephesus. It is just a different culture, be respectful of their culture and customs and you will be fine. It is a wonderful place to go!
