Can you check luggage at Atakoy Airport Istanbul? Traveling to Greek Isles for a couple of days after backpacking in Turkey. Hate yo take extra baggage on plane to Athens.

Our first choice would be to pack light and to fly a multi-city itinerary - into Istanbul and home from Athens. Here's the airport's info on "baggage custody". If you have stayed at a hotel in Istanbul, then they also will hold luggage for you.

Thanks for the site. Although later on I'll be staying in hotels, I won't have time to revisit them to pick up luggage, so the Airport will be best. Love to travel light, but will be completely self-reliant back backing for 10 days, before meeting my wife, who never packs light. Your site was very helpful; again thanks. Scott
