Biblical sites near Istanbul

Hello!
We will be traveling to see our son in Istanbul in Feb for two weeks. We would like to also, while we are there, see some biblical sites that might be easy to get to for maybe 6 of the 14-15 days. I don’t know where to begin. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks you for your time!

You might like to visit Ephesus, where St Paul is said to have written his letters to the Ephesians. The House of Mary, where she is said to have spent her last days, is nearby.

"Easy to get to" isn't in Turkey. For instance, to get to Ephesus, fly to Izmir. From there it's an hour by car (taxi may be affordable) or a bit more by train or bus. There's little rail infrastructure, roads can have heavy traffic and distances are long. Bear in mind that English is not widely spoken except for hotels and shops that cater to Western tourists.

Try googling "biblical sites in Turkey" and plot them on a map (maybe google maps). Use rome2rio.com to figure out logistics.
