I'm planning a Turkey trip in March. Current (preliminary) plan is to arrive at IST then catch a connecting flight to Izmir. Our inbound flight from Paris to Istanbul is scheduled to arrive at IST at 4 am (ugh, seems like IST specializes in awkward flight arrival and departure times).
After making our way through the arrivals formalities (including passport control, maybe claiming checked bags), we will have several hours before our onward connecting flight to Izmir. During that layover time, I'd like to hit the ATMs and get some Turkish Lira. Given the flow that we will be going through in this (vast, new) airport, does anyone know about where (or if) it will be convenient to find a friendly ATM?
