I was hoping to get some clarification. We are on the RS Best of Turkey tour and have arranged to be picked up at the airport by our hotel. I am a little unclear on tipping - do we need to tip our driver or is this already included in the 50 euro fee the hotel charges?

I think in this situation it is up to you. I used a private transfer service (Welcome Pickups). I paid just under 40 euro for the service and tipped 10% because the driver was very attentive, detailed, and safe. Note that sometimes the driver cannot get to the front door of your hotel because of construction or narrow streets. That was the case for several of my tourmates arriving at Galata's Hotel. In that case the driver will likely call the hotel front desk and someone will come meet you to help with bags - it was just a block or two walk at most.
